This project was piloted as a collaborative initiative by Best Suthidee Piyayothin (Thai artist educator) and I in a collaborative research with Bacons High School, Kingsdale Foundation School and MA Artist Teacher and contemporary Practice of Goldsmiths University of London and a continuation of Food and Habitus research. The purpose was to bring art into situational and conversational aspect within an institutional space with domestic ambience, comfort food for instance. Satay is a comfort food which Best and I can relate closely. Therefore by bringing the food to the project, along with the artists cultural message, the food also purposed to bring questions as well as dialogue to the occupants of the space about position and discomfort.
