Mantenan (Royal Wedding) is a collaborative project between Cikita Tiara, Ahdiyat N. Hartarta and I as a social criticism to Indonesian society where marriage ceremony is considered as a social status marker. On the other hand, the sanctity of marriage is being overlooked. In short summary, cover image becomes the most important aspect of marriage, disregarding the fact that wedding is a sacred ceremony.
